Which sucks.

Hopefully a new one will come along.  I'm hoping it'll be in Vancouver instead of Portland for tax reasons, aside from that... *shrugs*  Though, if a job became available down in SoCal I wouldn't object.  Ismarc would like L.A., I don't really care, I just want to live someplace warm again. =^_^=  Any place in the S.W. sounds good to me.  Likelihood of happening though isn't too great so we'll most likely be staying here for at least a couple of more years.

Does anyone have a bbq sauce recipe that does NOT contain sugar or honey? I'm planning to bbq steaks tonight but my father is diabetic and controls it by diet instead of insulin so some ingredients I can't use. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I am searching the net but so far have only come up with ones containing brown sugar or honey.

There are 6 vending machines in this building, dozens of people with candy dishes on their desks and not one chocolate bar. I want chocolate and I wanted it now. *growl*



Edit: [info]ismarc brought a one pound chocolate rabbit and some of my white chocolate with him when he came to pick me up from work. YAY! Much less cranky now.

Dear Inconsiderate Neighbor,

While I can applaud building things yourself, starting a project with power tools should NOT be done at 11 o’clock at night. If you lived out in the middle of nowhere without neighbors, that would be fine but we are in the middle of suburbia hell. Table saws, power drills and hammering are not conducive to a good night sleep. My mornings start at 5am, please start thinking of your neighbors, before I start a lynch mob.

Yep, it is official, Christmas trees were designed for the sole purpose of entertaining my cat (ok, all cats). We got all the decor up, while she was crouched under the tree, as soon as we were done, she started taking done the balls she could reach and chasing them all over the house. This is why, last year, we went and bought plastic balls to replace the glass ones she broke. Silly kitty.
